Mission Statement
Hopkinsville Group Home aids in the education of juveniles to learn from past mistakes and allows them to have a safe space to grow into successful adults.
About Hopkinsville Group Home
Hopkinsville Group Home houses a maximum of 8 male juveniles from across the state. The facility focuses on teaching life skills to the youth so that they can pursue college education, trade education, or job core placements following their time in custody.
Juveniles attend the Christian County Day Treatment Center for schooling and have a partnership with the technical college system to learn welding skills. Youth are offered a variety of different educational programs, including anger management, drug and alcohol awareness, employment and independent living, and sex offender education programming.
The facility was constructed in the early 1980’s and was acquired by the department in 1997. Visitation is on Sundays from 1pm-4pm. Virtual visitation is available and special in-person visits can be prearranged.
