Clifton Dobbs has dedicated nearly two decades to making a difference in the lives of Kentucky’s youth. He first began his journey with the department in 2006 at Adair Youth Development Center before transferring to Lake Cumberland Youth Development Center in 2008. After stepping away in 2014 to pursue work outside the corrections field, Clifton returned home and rejoined Lake Cumberland in February 2019, where he continues to serve today as a Youth Worker III.
For Clifton, this work is far more than a career — it’s an opportunity to be a positive role model, helping shape brighter futures and guiding young Kentuckians toward better paths in life. Knowing he has helped youth grow into better young men and positive influences in their communities is what continues to inspire his dedication each day.
Thank you, Clifton, for all that you do. We are grateful to have you on Team Kentucky!
