About Mayfield Youth Development Center​
Mayfield Youth Development Center was founded and constructed in 1978 and has undergone several renovations since opening. The facility houses a maximum of 30 juveniles.

The juvenile facility manager for Mayfield Youth Development Center is Larry Jackson. They facility has a variety of programs that teach juveniles responsibility and the importance of community ties and support.

Ronnie Collier​, ​Facility Manager

Ronnie Collier serves as the Superintendent at Mayfield Youth Development Center. He began his career with the Kentucky Department of Corrections, where he spent ten years in roles focused on facility security and staff supervision. In 2018, he joined the Department of Juvenile Justice and has since progressed through several positions, ultimately becoming superintendent.

Collier's dedication to working with youth is rooted in his corrections experience, where he saw firsthand the challenges young people face early in life. He is committed to helping them build positive paths and avoid repeating past struggles.​
