Ronnie Collier, Interim Facility Manager
Ronnie Collier worked for the Kentucky Department of Corrections for 10 years, beginning in 2008. In 2018, he transferred to Mayfield Youth Development Center where he worked for two years before transferring to Christian County Day Treatment, and then again to Hopkinsville Group Home in 2021 where he became the juvenile facility manager, a position he continues to hold.
Collier says his main source of motivation for working with juveniles comes from his time with corrections. He says he would see 18-year-olds entering adult facilities and felt that if he could help keep even one from entering prison then he would be making a difference.
