Mission Statement

The mission of the Hopkinsville Group Home is to improve public safety by providing balanced and comprehensive services that holds youth accountable and provide the opportunity for youth to develop into productive, responsible citizens

About Hopkinsville Group Home

Hopkinsville Group Home opened in 1997 and houses a maximum of 8 male juveniles from across the state. We offer specialized services designed to meet the individual youth and their families through an effective balance of ongoing treatment, education (secondary and/or post secondary), employment training/experience, and positive leisure activities. Completion and re-entry into the community is assessed on a case-by-case basis and determined on the youth’s process in the program.

Juveniles attend the Christian County Day Treatment Center for schooling and have a partnership with the technical college system to learn welding skills. Youth are offered a variety of different educational programs, including anger management, drug and alcohol awareness, employment and independent living, and sex offender education programming.

Visitation is on Sundays from 1pm-4pm. Virtual visitation is available and special in-person visits can be prearranged.

Capacity: 8
