About Frenchburg Group Home
Frenchburg Group Home is one of three Alternative to Detention programs in Kentucky. It houses youth who would traditionally be held in detention centers but who fit unique criteria to be held in lower security placements, typically those who are still awaiting a trail but are in the custody of the department. It is the most recent of the facilities to see this transfer from traditional group home to an Alternative to Detention program.

Frenchburg Group Home can house up to 8 males and was founded in 2005. This facility works to teach the youth in its care about various essential life skills, as well as best educate them about any ongoing legal cases they may be involved with.
